Hello! I’m an award-winning freelance writer, editor and journalist based in Silicon Valley. I love the craft, meeting people and telling stories.

After earning my bachelor's degree in English at UCLA and my master's degree at UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, I spent my formative years as a staff writer at the San Jose Mercury News covering everything from crime and politics to arts and entertainment.

I went on to become the style editor at San Francisco’s 7x7 magazine, overseeing all things fashion and beauty and reporting on the city's charitable galas and vibrant social scene. A deep dive into multichannel e-commerce led me to global beauty giant Sephora, where I managed the product copy team for digital brand creative.

My work has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, the Los Angeles Times, the Houston Chronicle, Silicon Valley Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, San Francisco Magazine, Weddings California, SFgate.com, Sephora.com and various other publications.
